My Tribute To Tigra
This was the best dog I ever had. She was loyal, friendly, and just as sweet as she could be!

Tigra was born in November 1997. I was lucky enough to meet her in May of '98. I met her at my job and ended up taking her home that day. When I  took her home, my plan was to find her owner or a new place to live. That wasn't her plan.

I'll never forget the first night I brought her home. When we slept, she curled up in my arms and would stay there the whole night. She showed so much affection. After a few weeks, she won the hearts of me and my dad, and ended up becoming my baby. I was going through a rough time at the moment of meeting her and she just lifted my spirits up so much. She became my angel who I spoiled rotten. I remember taking her to Pet Smart and she picked out the toys she wanted. Whatever she hung on to, she got to keep.

In July of '99, I started looking for an apartment to live in. Knowing that I was going to live alone and working two jobs at that time, I started to realize how lonely Tigra would become.

So, I made the decision to look for a new home for her. It was one of the hardest decisions to make. But, thankfully, at the time I got very lucky!

Tigra's new home was with my dad's girlfriend. She fell in love with her and decided to keep her. I got very lucky. I still was able to see her and visit her and there were many weekends that I got to watch her while they were out of town.

It was around June of 2001 when I received the bad news. Shortly before that time, they got a kitten, who got along wonderfully with Tigra. That kitten ended up changing so many lives.

One afternoon, when the people there took naps, the screen door was left open. Sweet Pea, the cat, opened the screen door. While they were sleeping, Tigra got out and since no one caught it in time, they were unable to find her. At that time, there was a festival going on right down the street and hopefully someone saw her there and fell in love with her and decided to keep her. I keep my fingers crossed hoping that's what happen. Tigra was ripped out of my life that day.

The whole time she was in my life, she was my angel. She helped me through a rough part and I only hope that the people who have her now feel the same way.
